Cloud Waste Hunter (“CWH”, “we”, “our”) values your privacy. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We comply with applicable privacy laws, including Canada’s PIPEDA and Québec’s Law 25, as well as relevant U.S. state privacy requirements.

Information We Collect

• Email addresses — collected only when you voluntarily join our waitlist or contact us. Submissions are added directly to our email list (single opt-in) and used to provide updates about early access and product news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each message.
• Email delivery — we use Loops (loops.so) to securely manage our waitlist and send transactional and product update emails. Loops stores only your email address and related metadata needed to deliver messages and handle unsubscribes. Data is processed under their privacy policy and is not shared or sold.
• Analytics — we use PostHog Cloud, a privacy-friendly analytics platform hosted by PostHog Inc. It helps us understand aggregate traffic and site performance. No personally identifying information is collected until you consent, and all data is processed in accordance with PostHog’s privacy commitments.
• Cookies/local storage — used only to remember your privacy and feature preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or profiling cookies.

Legal Basis & Consent

Under PIPEDA and GDPR-style laws, your implied consent covers functional cookies. Explicit consent is required for analytics or session replay. Our site displays a small consent banner for this purpose.

In the U.S., analytics cookies are considered first-party functional tools when used solely for internal measurement and not for advertising. We provide notice and an opt-out to respect applicable state privacy laws.

Data Use & Retention

We use collected data to improve our site, send requested communications, and maintain security. Email communications are managed via Loops (loops.so). We retain email addresses until you unsubscribe, and we anonymize analytics data within 14 months.

Your Rights

• Unsubscribe from emails directly via the footer link in each message.

International Visitors
